This month the theme was DELISH well I don't know about you BUT I happen to think the BEST food you can eat comes straight out of the garden. Good ole FRESH Garden Veggies and Fruit. (This kit reflects how I remember my childhood on the farm at my Grandmommies and at my Great Grandma Archers log cabin down by the creek....) I grew up with a Grandmommie that canned food not only for herself but for everyone else as well. She had the best canned sweet pickles and green beans you could ever put in your mouth! Milburn, Kentucky and Frog Jump, Tennessee was sure blessed having her around when she was the canning queen of the South.... YOU just cannot beat the country life I do not care what anyone else tells you! SO as soon as I seen the theme of this months blog train my Grandmommie and Great Grandma Archer came to my mind and so I went with this as a dedication to what strong wonderful women they are and was and how thankful I was and am to have them in my life! I can see her in her hat and long sleeves now coming in from the garden. The fruit well my Great Grandma Archer had all kinds of fruit trees, vines, and patches, my cousin and I used to eat fruit until we was sick... but it was SO SO GOOD! My Uncle Paul also had Bee Hives.... ever eaten fresh honeycomb? Well.... that's for another day....😉 LOL We was blessed yes we was. I guess I can also say.... MOST of the best things in life are (FREE) so there was a lesson in reflecting back for this ole girl....😇
Let me warn you there are ALOT of goods in this baby.... it's not all in the previews I thought I would throw a little surprise or two in there for ya.... HECK we all love surprises.... right?♥
